What's next?
Comfort Her
As Cherie continues to float, you plant a thought in her mind which she begins to contemplate. "He's a ghost. Incorporeal. And Chad doesn't even believe he exists. I sometimes wonder if he remembers I exist."
The reminder offers her a way out of her moral dilemma. The idea that her faithfulness to Chad wouldn't be tested, that she could enjoy Mack's attention without the guilt of infidelity, is both relieving and enticing. "Anyway, I could have the best of both worlds. The comfort of my marriage and family, and the attention and companionship I deserve."
As Cherie ponder these thoughts, the water gently rocking her body, she finds herself torn between the familiarity of her marriage and the allure of something new and exciting. The contrast between Chad's distance and your attention creates a whirlwind of emotions within her, a battle between loyalty and desire, between the comfort of the known and the thrill of the unknown.
Finishing up her swim, she heads to the edge of the pool when another thought suddenly comes to her and she looks up.

"You're watching me, aren't you?" she asks out loud. You just smile to yourself.

"Uh huh. That's what I thought. Dirty man," sher says with a small smile before getting out of the pool.
