Ambition
Mithra regained her senses rather quickly once she was taken away from Nadine. “You sonnova-!” She tried to kick and elbow her father as he dragged her towards a hover-transport. The moment she started fighting he mercilessly slammed Mithra into the roof of the barge, creating a small crater of bent metal. He then punched her hard in the stomach, widening the crater and causing the girl to cough up blood. He picked up the dazed Mithra again and took her into the transport without problems.
Behind him as the vehicle took off with the door left open and Brutos hanging out the side, he saw the lights in the distance and the sinking barge. There were still gnolls left behind, soldiers that would be a needed sacrifice. As the scene shrank he finally slid inside and closed the door. Mithra was coming to again, holding her stomach.
“What the fuck?” She groaned.
“Hm?” Brotos looked over.
“Oh. I don’t got time to argue.”
“Not that!” She screamed, regretting immediately as the strain made her stomach throb.
“Well, that, but why the hell are you doing this? I always knew you were a piece of shit, but-”
“Think whatever you want, kiddo. You knowing the first thing about any of this doesn’t help me out, and it won't help you out.”
“I’m just curious why you bothered to kidnap me when you don’t give a shit about me?”
“Keke. Yeah, that’s a thinker, huh?”
“Typical.” Mithra leaned against the side wall of the transport.
“Everyone’s always doing shit without me…”
Brutos looked over. “Of course.”
“Eh, gonna make fun of me now, you fucker?” Mithra jeered.
“It’s completely true. You’re weak.”
“Me!? Fuck you! I’m-”
“You’re basically an average gnoll girl, which means… not much. You’re stronger than average. You got maybe thirty more years, then you’ll kick the bucket.” Brutos looked up in thought.
“You get yourself in so much shit for someone that’s such a little bitch. You got a bad attitude. You’re basically begging for someone to beat you up 24/7 and I’m pretty sure you’d be into that, so you’re a bit fucked in the head to, kiddo.”
Mithra stared her father down as he spoke calmly and bluntly about all her shortcomings. Finally she gritted her teeth and pointed, recovering enough to yell.
“What about you! You-” She stopped. He waited, then started laughing, his eyes were gleeful.
“Kekeke. All you can say about me is that I’m an asshole, or something similar. At least I’m strong.”
“If you’re so strong then how’d you let mom die.” Mithra flinched back as Brutos turned his head to stare at her sharply.
“Easy.” He said coldly.
“Your mother died because she was weak, like you. I thought maybe, since you were also a part of me you’d be fine.” He huffed.
“But that’s not the case. I can already tell thanks to this slut.” He patted his jacket and the drooling fox skewered beneath it against his chest plate.
“Wait…” Mithra furrowed her brow.
“You’re afraid to lose me.” He didn’t answer. She pushed him.
“Maybe you got it wrong-” His ears perked. Mithra continued, leaning right next to him as she tauntingly said.
“Ever think maybe Mom died because you were too wea-”
Brutos reached over, gripping around Mithra’s neck. She clutched his hand and glared at him through lidded eyes as he stared back harshly. As she was about to go **** he let her go, withdrawing his hand as she took in a deep gasp of air.
“I fought in the Grau insurgency. Those people knew how to fight. It wasn’t as simple as just killing them, and killing them wasn’t even that simple. I wasn’t a soldier, but the insurgency started around your Mother and I, so I learned. Quit college and picked up a gun. Your- Macey was a nurse, so she wanted to help, too. I told her no but it’s the case with all women in this family that she just didn’t listen. When I got back I learned she died in an attack on her field hospital, and when I got home you were waiting there, looking like her. She was weak and she didn’t listen. Bad combination.”
Mithra stared down at her feet thoughtfully. “Why’d you put me in some prissy school?”
“Macey wanted it.”
“Huh? Then… why’d you give up getting me back into another one?”
“What money? It was all up in smoke after you decided you didn’t wanna do it anymore, and why should I? You come home crying from one prissy school, who’s to say you don’t from the next. I couldn’t get back at ‘em at the time, but the family the made you cry-”
“Wait wait wait…” Mithra held her head in her hands. She then let go and exclaimed.
“You’re doing this because of a grudge!?” Brutos continued to stay staring straight ahead.
“Holy shit… when I was crying from being bullied I thought you didn’t give a shit. I thought you were mad at me for blowing it but… you were… mad at Garland’s family.”
“They were untouchable, Mi. I had to start making deals. I had to grow my business. I had to make contact with people I’d hate in any other circumstance. But, it’s worth it.”
“Dad, I made peace with them! I don’t fucking care about that anymore.”
“That’s nice.” He shrugged.
“I haven’t.”
With those last words being said the transport landed on the deck of a ship in the harbour, or so Mithra thought. It was a whole warship, though not entirely. It had a weird mix of military and luxury that made her believe that the boat could only possibly belong to Garland’s family. There were many gnolls loading boxes on board, and guarding the deck, but directly across from the door a tall, pale woman with deep red eyes waited, flanked by a line of other attendants with solid white veil’s with a single red eye on the front. Each of them was a fox, the majority were red, like Kara. As Mitha stepped out cautiously and Brutos pushed out behind her, bumping her forward, Mithra noticed the main woman was strikingly similar to Kara in appearance.
“Welcome!” Coda opened her arms and spoke in a warm, bright tone. She was looking at Mithra specifically.
“Is this our little acolyte?”
“Eh? The fuck?” She looked at the woman, then at Brutos who just walked past and nodded.
“Yeah. Do what you promised. No more no less… or I’ll be coming for you.” He opened his coat to flash Leage right in Coda’s face. The woman did not even seem taken aback. Her eyes also never left Mithra as she stood with one arm crossed under her breasts and her other hand tapping her red lips.
“We are of course aware of what you did to my dear Leage, however, since it still serves her original purpose effectively I’ve chosen not to act… You may keep her in whatever state you like if you are capable of doing as I requested.”
“Wear them out. Snatch them up. Give them to you. Easiest job in my life.”
“So it would seem.” Coda chucked, extending her hand to Mithra.
“Come, dear.”
Mithra stepped forward cautiously, but avoided taking the hand. Coda smirked, walking the gnoll into the depths of the ship while Brutos remained up top. When they were far enough away and still walking down Mithra looked back and noticed no one was following them. She then looked down and didn’t see anyone ahead. They were alone. Her muscles tensed as she turned on the woman, attacking her. Surprisingly, the attack only shocked Mithra, as once she had her hands around the fox’s thin neck, and her back against the wall, she did not seem worried. But, she had gotten so far and she wasn’t going to stop.
“Tell me what the hell is going on. Are you behind all this shit?”
“Yes.” Coda stated flatly. Mithra huffed and let her go once she noticed Coda’s neck had barely any give. She couldn’t strangle whatever the fox was. Once released, Coda beamed happily and patted Mithra on the head, eliciting a blush.
“Good girl.” They continued walking. Coda was wearing an elegant red gown and was descending the steps barefoot. It was like she barely cared as her mane of red seemed wispy, and her tail swept behind her.
“You wished to understand?”
“Y-yeah.” Mithra nodded timidly.
“What deal did you make with my dad?”
“The deal is that you join me, with all of the perks. Very few in my coven are actually granted even a fraction of what I have… It was actually quite a hard bargain, especially since I am not fully convinced of your worth just yet. But… a deal is a deal.” The fox waved her hand flippantly.
They arrived in a wide hall within the ship that was supposed to be a dining room. The tables and chairs were stacked along the side and in the centre, sitting within a huge circle there were many more foxes meditating, contentrating.
“This is…” Mithra began, looking around.
“Don’t mind them. They aren’t a part of what we are doing.”
“I mean… not them. Is this a yacht or a warship?”
“Good question! I have no clue. Technology is one concept that completely escapes my understanding. My children tell me how it works and… I tend to believe them. Now… one of my children has grown very fond of technology-”
“Is there a reason for me to know this shit?”
“You said you wished to know what was going on.”
“Right… Sorry. Just get to the point.” Mithra begged as they walked through the circle to the other side of the room. There were a pair of chairs set up facing one-another and they were set very close together so that Coda was knee to knee with Mithra. The fox held out her hand and forcibly took Mithras this time, holding it between them.
“The point, my dear, is that you have been misled.” Coda claimed. Mithra stared at her skeptically.
“Your friends. Garland. Shedu. Everyone. None of their interests are served by the power that is behind them. The way things are going, you are undoubtedly going to lose them.”
“Big claim coming from the literal big bad of all this shit we’ve been going through.”
“I know.” Coda sighed.
“It seems that way, doesn’t it? But, the pure and simple truth is that I am the good. Everything that has been behind you so far, that has been behind Garland and Shedu… it has all been evil that was not caused by me. I am only attempting to do what I can to reign in the mistake.”
Mithra leaned in. “What mistake?”
“The whole story is a long one, but to sum it up, many, many years ago I lost both of my children in quick succession.” Mithra blinked at that sudden, very blunt admission. She steeled herself, however, not yet swayed at all emotionally.
“My two closest children had a childish disagreement. One was meant to undertake an extremely important quest while the other was meant to remain by my side and continue to learn under me. However, none of us are very good at communication so my child that remained had a growing bitterness inside of her. She believed that my other child was shirking her duties while still remaining as my chosen and closest. She made no attempt to quell the anger of her Sister and instead left an emotional wound that festered into a conflict that ended with her killing her sister rather brutally with the aid of a Hero…” Coda exhaled deeply, then breathed in and continued.
“My other child could have returned to me, but her purpose was warped by the Hero's charisma. His kindness filled the hole in her heart made by her sister and myself and did nothing to stem the bitterness. She simply grew more and more mad with each passing day. She partook in assimilating and controlling those around her. Then… finally she died.”
“Stories like that don’t usually end so abruptly.”
“They don’t, and it didn’t. Because she did not die in a traditional sense. Have you heard of the philosophical problem of ‘the voyage?’”
“No?”
“A ship sets sail, it doesn’t matter the name, but it is a unique ship that leaves… much like this one.” Coda mused, looking up and around at the great dining hall.
“But as it travels, bit by bit the ship is repaired and parts are replaced until the day it returns and low and behold our ship is crafted a new from parts that are one-hundred percent changed from the original. Is it our ship, then?”
Mithra considered the question carefully. She was an academic in her earlier years. Some might’ve even called her a nerd.
“Well… I think that there’s maybe a problem with the question. There’s no clear answer and I’m guessing you’re just saying all that yo make some kinda fucking point, or something…”
Coda clapped. “Well done.”
Mithra blushed and looked away. “Whatever…”
Coda frowned. “My daughter came upon a **** that was not meant to be… a mass of Aura. I do not expect you to fully grasp the mechanics, but just know that when my Raithe entered that disturbance, it is said that she absorbed it and utilised it, but I have a different answer to this question. If it were her, I would have no reason to do this, however I am not sure that it is. I believe it is not. So, you see that this conflict is not one having to do with good or evil. It is one that is simply over two sides that have different answers to the question I posed. I believe that the world will be under threat if my daughter if victorious, and my daughter, since she is no more, wishes to destroy me..” Coda gulped.
“And… she can. I am weak against such powerful Aura. I have lived through many disasters, however a Primal is not something that I can contend with unscathed.”
“I don’t fucking get it. Why do you think- how does any of this work!?” Mithra shouted.
“You’re just saying shit and expecting me to go along with it.”
Coda nodded. “Put simply, my Daughter entered a swirling mass of Aura that was about to become a powerful being. While it seems as though she came out as the conqueror of that entity, what has actually happened is that she has come out conquered… It has taken on her thoughts, her traits, her desires. It wears her skin and usurps her nature to spread its influence across the planet.”
“Tch.” Mithra scoffed.
“What does this have to do with me? What does your side or their side have to do with me? If anything, I’m just going to side with my friends against-”
“The world is dying.”
“W-what?”
“It’s the Soul. Aura and Soul have a volatile relationship. This technology that is being spread all around feeds off our planet’s Soul and usurps her natural Aura. As her Aura grows and becomes a tool to be used without her permission it will grow and be unable to be continued and her soul will shrink… I want balance, Mithra.”
Mithra was dumbfounded. She stared at Coda, trying to weigh and understand what was just said. As Mithra seemed to be genuinely considering those words, Coda continued.
“If all of that means nothing to you, consider just what my daughter’s… what the Vara’s regime has done. They are more of a criminal syndicate that your father could ever come up with. They have usurped the ruling bodies of the world. The warp minds and transform bodies into strange machinations and they do it with glee! They relish it, because their nature, at the end of it all, every one of them to their core are not truly beings of this world but the offspring of Deam. No better than them.”
“Fuck…” Mithra shook her head.
“Do Garland and Shedu know?”
“Shedu knows more than her brother, however you now know more than both of them. They are ignorant, for the most part. They have no idea what beast they are being driven to feed.” Coda leaned closer, pulling Mithra’s hand up as it remained clasped tightly in the fox’s.
“You can save them. It is not out of the question if you decide-”
“Fuck off.” Mithra pulled her hand away.
“You aren’t planning to let me decide! You made a deal with my dad.”
“I did. However… I will break that deal if you truly wish to leave here and rejoin their side knowing all that you now know. To be frank… I don’t think I would want you to be my child if you would choose that option and I would never know what the answer was unless I let you say it out loud.”
Coda waited pensively as Mithra rubbed her eyes. The girl exhaled wearily and shook her head.
“Fuuuuck… it’s heavy.” She looked up.
“Your child. What does that mean?”
“I will assimilate you into my family. You will become a fox, but I will also grant you other gifts. You will be strong, stronger than anyone.”
“Why me? Just because my dad made a deal?”
“Because you have a connection to those two that they can't ignore for one. Second, your bloodline has a history with mine. Since you are already partially born of my blood.”
“Uhh… what?”
“When my son was at his wits end he conceived a child of mine and his blood.”
“Lady, you fucked your stepson?”
“No no, it’s not like that. He did it against my will.”
“What!?”
“Oh…” Coda looked up in thought.
“You don’t understand that I was being literal. There was no sex involved, he was hopelessly involved with men his whole life. Our relationship was very wholesome. My darling Djir had apparently collected so much of my blood without realising.”
“How?” Mithra asked. Coda smiled and did not give the answer.
“Okay, whatever… So we’re related?”
“In a sense. Do you have an answer or do you need more time?”
“How are we going to do this?” Mithra asked.
“Is that a yes?” Coda cocked her head to one side, her ears perking up.
“Ye-yeah.”
The moment Mithra said that there was a catlike growl as Coda’s eyes opened wide. She pounced on Mithra, sending the chair onto its back. Mithra sprawled out on the floor, the wind knocked out of her while Coda lay on top, her long red hair splayed out like a blanket that was thrown over them. Before Mithra could question it or react, Coda bent down and abruptly bit Mithra on the neck. She gasped.
“O-oh fuck, are you sucking my blood!?” Mithra’s eyes rolled up. Coda stopped nibbling and proceeded to give Mithra a big hickey as Coda ground her knee under Mithra’s sex. The girl started moaning.
“No, I just know what you’re into.”
Mithra blushed deeply. “Th-that’s-” She yelped as Coda had a hold of her breasts, massaging them and squishing them together as her mouth found Mithra’s lips and kissed them deeply only to come away pulling on Mithra’s bottom lips sensually with her teeth. Coda drew blood and licked her lips, going back in for more. At the second deep kiss with tongue, Mithra was already hard. Coda reached back and stroked the massive purple member as she slid up.
“All of my original children are female gnolls, for the most part. Well… they were. You’ll have good company.” Coda giggled, sitting herself down on Mithra’s cock. Coda rode the girl, making her balls ache with every thrust inside of the fox’s tight cunt.
“Holy shit…” Mithra gasped. She could feel a pulling in her entire being, but also a pushing. It was like within the more overt connection they shared in Coda’s pussy and her cock, Mithra could also feel like something was being pushed into her ‘self’ as some of that self with pushed up into Coda. The gnoll’s eyes became watery and her back arched off the ground as the fox milf’s thick but slapped Mithra’s lap over and over again. The woman was ravenous, and Mithra quickly lost control.
“That’s it… There’s a good girl.” Coda cooed, stroking Mithra’s cheek affectionately before giving it a very sudden, playful slap that would excite the gnoll’s heart further. Her eyes lit up, red leaking into the auburn that they were originally. Coda bent down, parting Mithra’s bangs so she could see the gnolls eyes rolled up under her eyelids. Coda giggled, licking up Mithra’s cheek and over her eye as she slapped her ass down one final time, invoking Mithra to cum hard inside of the ancient woman. As Mithra came her ears grew, as did her canines. Her eyes fully shifted and became feline in shape as claws grew on her hands and toes. The relatively small tail she had grew so quickly, fluffing out into a full, purple tail that seemed just like her new mother’s.
Mithra breathed heavily and excitedly. Coda smiled triumphantly. “Welcome to the family~”
