Pretty quickly, actually!

(Note: Several chapters back, I started a secondary branch that covers the fight between Akeno and Koneko vs. Yubelluna, which has wrapped up in said branch. There is a spoiler on how that battle concluded in this chapter, so I recommend reading that branch first.)

Kiba raised his blade, quickly blocking the swing from the greatsword the Knight was using as the two cat like Pawns moved around to surround Issei, who spoke into the communicator that the Pawns were all accounted for, and that there was no longer a need to guard their turf. "Understood. In that case, Asia and I are moving out to face Riser," Rias responded.

Issei was then about to contact Akeno and Koneko to warn them about the Phoenix Tears, but one of the Pawns quickly kicked at him. He dodged, but it still grazed the side of his head, and knocked the device clean off, where it got stepped on. "Shit! Kiba, do you still have your radio!?" Issei asked, defending himself as the two Pawns assaulted him, and he quickly Boosted.

"Lost it when I fought the Pawns, and we only had enough for the original Peerage made before your Pawn Transfer idea, so Raynare doesn't have one!" Kiba cursed as he dueled the Knight, who could swing that large blade fast. Speaking of Raynare, she was having trouble with the Bishop, who was using wind magic as skillfully as Akeno used Lightning, and had a powerful aura. The winds kept Raynare form flying effectively, and redirected her Javelins.

Deciding to end this now, Issei ran towards Kiba, evading the Pawns, and pulling out Second Liberation, the stage of his Gear that allowed power transfer. He had unlocked it during training. "Kiba, combo time!" he shouted.

Kiba nodded, unleasing the power of his own Sacred Gear as Issei got a second Boost, and transferred them both to Kiba. "Boosted Sword Birth!" Kiba shouted, and before any of Riser's Peerage could react, large blades erupted from the ground, and impaled them. "Hey, watch it! You almost got me!" Raynare shouted, jumping back.

"...darn, I missed," Kiba quipped, making Raynare shout indignantly.

"Riser Peerage, 2 Pawns, 1 Knight, 1 Bishop, retired," Grayfia spoke as the Peerage members vanished.

"Right, let's get you both promoted!" Kiba nodded, leading the way. As Rias and Asia arrived on the roof to fight Riser, Issei and Raynare reached the interior of the building.

"Promotion, Queen!" Issei shouted along with Raynare, and felt the rush of power.

"How you feeling?" Kiba asked them.

"I'm at about half stamina at this point," Issei admitted.

"Two thirds," Raynare agreed.

"To the roof then," Kiba dashed up the stairs, Issei and Raynare following. They arrived to see Rias and Asia standing before Riser and Ravel, Ravel just finishing telling Riser something.

"...smuggling in a Fallen Angel into a Rating Game meant for Devils... honestly, Rias, are you that determined to go against what's best for Devilkind?" Riser asked in exasperation.

"Best for Devilkind according to your definition," Rias stated flatly. "And it's working quite well. At this rate, you'll have to face the entire Peerage if you really want me so bad..."

"Hah! As embarrasing as it was to lose almost my whole Peerage before you lost a single piece, Yubelluna will defeat both your own Queen and Rook! Any moment now, Grayfia will announce the defeat of one or both of them!" Riser sneered.

He was kind of right. Grayfia did speak, almost on cue. However, what she said was where he was wrong. "Riser Peerage, 1 Queen, retired."

Riser and Ravel froze as Rias, Issei, Kiba and Raynare smirked, Asia actually giggling. "No way..." Ravel said in quiet disbelief.

Riser looked up, and chuckled in clear denial. "Ah, Grayfia-sama... I believe you misspoke. Perhaps, as embarrassing as this to admit, I lost so many pieces, you accidentally said my Peerage when you meant Rias lost her Queen?" No answer. No correction. Riser waited a few more seconds, before growling. "How! How!? How could you all have gotten strong enough to get this far!?" He'd had a good idea how strong Ria's Peerage was before the training period started! Two weeks should not have been enough to bridge the gap this much! Maybe two months, if they trained almost non stop, bare minimum! Ironically, that estimate was pretty close: Issei's wishes for the time dilation and the instant recharge to squeeze more training into that time frame actually did essentially give them roughly two months worth of training by more conventional means, more in Issei's, Rias's, Akeno's and Asia's cases.

Issei smirked. "We trained all day, every day the past two weeks," he answered, technically being truthful.

Riser's eye twitched. "You low ranking commoner... you think you're being cute!?" he demanded.

"Bitch, I'm adorable," Issei retorted without missing a beat, making Riser snarl and flare up, wreathing himself in flames.

"...yes, he is," Rias smirked, giving Issei a saucy wink. Koneko and Akeno arrived, Koneko carrying Akeno, both nude, save Akeno's panties, and some mud on Koneko.

"...whoa, what happened? You guys okay?" Issei asked, staring. He had half a mind to send Yubelluna a thank you note after this shit show was over.

"Less talking, more healing, and keep your damn eyes off!" Koneko hissed at Issei, who immediately looked back towards Riser as Asia got to work.

"How do you wanna play this, Prez?" Kiba asked as Riser prepared to unleash hell on them.
