I keep holding down the minus button and watch her fidget in her seat, clearly distressed with the book in front of her.

She tries to keep going but finally resigns, addressing me once again...

"Hey… say… Can… you like read this?" - I give it a quick glance and tell her I can - "Oh, Poopie Pants! Sophia thinks she’s like getting dumb…"

Holy shit! I think I just turned her illiterate!
