I wait for Sophia to arrive

I don’t have to wait too long. Soon, I can see Sophia approach my desk of choice.

"Heya! Almost missed you all the way back here!", she complains slightly with a laugh, but I tell her it's quieter back here and she agrees: "Well, I guess it is. Good thinking!"

Sophia sits down, puts some books on the table, and opens one: "Let's get started!"

We start our study session… but my thoughts drift to the remote… again and again…
