Meeting The Family

I've never been so nervous before in my life.

Henry's parents want to meet me. No, they INSISTED on meeting me. So here I am, nervously standing in front of his door being too scared to knock.

Will they like me? Will they assume I'm using him? Am I dressed too skimpy? Will they think I'm a slut?

My questions were interrupted by the door opening. I stiffened like a board when his father opened the door.

"You must be Rose, come in," he said with a gentle smile. I relaxed a little bit and walked in, making sure to take my shoes off once inside.

The house was very cozy. Nothing really stood out, but that's what made it feel so good. Just a simple piece of happy living.

"My wife is finishing up with dinner. Make yourself at home," said Henry's dad.

"Thank you sir," I said kindly. I wasn't expecting him to bellow out a laugh, which made me jump.

"You can relax, we're not going to hurt you. Henry has told us a lot about you, and you sound like a very sweet girl. Please, call me Tom," said Tom. This helped me relax, especially when I saw Henry walk up to me.

"Sorry, I'm just nervous. I really want to make a good impression," I said.

"Trust me, you already have," said Tom before going to the kitchen.

"Thanks for coming over. I really appreciate it," said Henry as I felt his arms wrap around me from behind. I always feel so safe when he does that.

"Of course baby," I said.

"Kids, come eat," called out Henry's mom. I took a deep breath before walking into the dining room. Once his mother saw me, she walked over with a big smile.

"It's so nice to meet you sweetie. I'm Martha," she said.

"It's nice to meet you too. Thanks for having me," I said.

"Of course. We just wanted to meet the girl who's brought our Henry so much happiness," said Martha. I looked over at my smiling boyfriend and felt my heart skip a beat.

"Well, he's brought me a lot of happiness too," I said before giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Looks like she's real. Nice pull bro," said another voice, the sister.

I thought I was nervous before, now I'm shaking in my boots.

I turned around and tried not to stutter.

"H-hi. Nice to meet you," I said, holding out my hand that I was desperately hoping wasn't shaking.

"Hah, looks like you've infected her with your stuttering bro," she said before walking past me.

"Emily, be nice," said Martha.

The rest of dinner went well. Emily would say a few comments, but his parents are so nice.

Eventually, I had to use the bathroom. And when I came out, I wasn't alone.

The sister had found me.
