Persuading Raynare to participate in the Rating Game.

"...you want me to become a Devil, just so I can participate in your little upcoming Rating Game?" Raynare asked Rias and Issei flatly a few hours later. "...you're out of your damn minds."

"We never said anything about becoming a Devil," Rias replied, standing next to Issei with an arm wrapped around him, while he had an arm around her. "We are telling you to become my Pawn for a little bit to participate."

"...that's not much of a difference," Raynare deadpanned. "Becoming a Pawn in a Peerage, or any piece in a Peerage means becoming a Devil by default."

"Not with what we came up with. I managed to create a spell that allows me to transfer the power of one of my sealed Pawns to someone else. I will still have the piece in practice, but loaning out the status and power it provides," Issei explained, giving their cover story behind that ability as well. "You won't become a Devil, you'll just have Pawn status as a temporary measure."

"And why should I agree to this, even with that in mind?" Raynare demanded.

"Well, first of all, you're basically our bitch," Rias pointed out. "Azazel sent you to do essentially community service for your crimes."

"Within reason!" Raynare replied heatedly, crossing her arms under her bust. "Fighting your battles is a bit much!"

"Secondly, you're going to get to fight other Devils," Rias plowed on as if Raynare hadn't spoken. "Surely, you wouldn't mind getting a bit more combat experience under your belt, and you'll get a nice guilt free way to vent your frustrations. I would have thought you'd jump on the chance to do something other than menial shit for us..."

"...okay, you got me there..." Raynare conceded begrudgingly. When put like that, it definitely sounded more appealing.

"And third of all, I would very much appreciate it," Issei added with a smile, making sure to word it in a manner that appealed to the desires he knew Raynare had. And decided to throw some bribery in on it. "In fact, if we win, I might take you out for a nice dinner, on me."

Raynare's face all but burst into flames. "You think I want to go out on a date with you again!?" she demanded, though she didn't exactly sound convincing.

"No, not a date, unless you want it to be one," Issei shrugged, offering an out. "Call it a reward if you prefer it that way."

Raynare grumbled, but was clearly considering the request now.
