No, he decided. Not because he didn’t want her, whatever taboo may once have prevented him from pursuing this with her, had all but disappeared somewhere along the path he’d taken to this point. His cock throbbed from the effects of her dance, her kiss, and, he realized, the control he wielded over her. She pulled her panties back up, turning deliberately to give him a teasing view of her ass as she bent to slip her jeans back on. She giggled as she saw him looking, blowing him a kiss and winking as she left the room, hurrying to return to her day.

He had re-shaped her in a moment, changing reality to suit his desires.

If the introduction the app had given him was to be believed, then the possibilities were practically endless, but there was a ticking clock. He had been so caught up in the possibilities that the app had opened up to him that he had all but forgotten the somewhat ominous ending to that initial message. Competitors out there, seeking to build their own power and it would only be a matter of time before either he won or they did. Even if their victory didn’t remove his access to the app, he doubted anyone able to achieve the dominance the app spoke of would be willing to allow a potential competitor to exist.

He gripped the phone.

He had work to do.

First, he needed to understand more about the app. If he wanted to win this game, he needed to know the rules.

Pulling up the app he started scrolling through the menu, looking for information. There was nothing there about the makers of the app, no company copyrights or terms and conditions. The logo was a golden outline of a crown on a black background, so plain and generic that a reverse image search turned up a million hits on everything from restaurants to a free virus with every download vector image database.

Eventually he found what he was looking for under an option labeled “The Game Of Kings”.

The prize of the Game Of Kings, is dominion and obedience. Players have been assigned based on relevant criteria, 5 of them male, 5 of them female. There can be only one winner.

How To Play

Using the app you may tag an individual within your Active Range to make them your Subject. This makes them available for Commands. The app will highlight what Commands are available to you based on your Experience. Being obeyed will provide the Player with Experience. Accumulate enough Experience to Level Up. Leveling Up will increase the rate at which you gain Influence with new Subjects, your ability to overcome Resistance and unlock new features of the App.

Initial Influence is calculated based on their opinion of the Player, view of Player as an authority and other relevant factors. Resistance is calculated based on their independence, dislike of authority, willingness to obey a specific Command, and a number of other factors.

Obeying Commands will erode a tagged individual’s Resistance and make them more likely to obey future Commands and making other options available. It will also increase your Influence with them.

In order to issue a Command, the tagged individual must be in your Active Range. The only exception to this is Summon, which may be issued within your Passive Range. If your Influence with the target is high enough, the Command will overcome their Resistance. They will continue to follow the Command as long as they remain within your Passive Range. If a tagged individual moves beyond your Passive Range, they will no longer be compelled to obey and may cease to perform the Command. Any Commands active at the time that they left will then need to be re-issued from within Active Range.

Warning: Once outside Passive Range, the tagged individual will attempt to rationalize their behavior while under Command. Behavior that is impossible to rationalize may lead to a dramatic increase in tagged individual’s Resistance.

That warning sent a flare of alarm through him and he quickly navigated back to a Player Summary screen that had caught his eye earlier and hunted for the stats it had mentioned.

Level: 1

Active Range: 50ft
Passive Range: 250ft

He blew out a sigh of relief. Not a lot of space to work with there, but fortunately his mother worked from home so unless she had any errands to run, he was safe for now. But levelling up needed to be a priority, for many reasons.

Another stat caught his eye.

As expected, the only way he could interpret that was that he had used 1 of 1 available tags. That meant he would need to level up before he could tag anyone else. He could untag her, but that would risk undoing the progress he had made with her; he didn’t know if she would be able to rationalize what they had done together so far, though perhaps, given that she had evidently had some buried lust for him for a while it would not be impossible. Still, the throb of his desire for her made that option a last resort.

So he would need to level up with just her… and then what?

Tag another woman? Vitalia? Someone else? Several girls at college, even a couple of the professors flashed through his mind’s eye, a sudden image of them at his feet, a willing, eager harem.

Dustin grinned at the image, but took a long slow breath. Someday, yes, but not just yet. No, first he would need… a lot.

Before anything else, he dove back into the rules page. There was more, a lot more, talking about Command variants, Experience calculation values and other factors. The short of it was, he could alter the target’s perception of the acceptability of a Command like he had done by redirecting Jessica to clean his room instead of his bathroom and that the more likely a Command was to be obeyed by an individual without the app’s influence, the less experience it offered. Commanding someone to do something they would have happily done anyway would earn nothing. There were also other things, caps on the experience that could be earned from any one person, definitions for aspects it would show in individual summaries, and a host of areas greyed out, evidently the “other features” he would get access to when he levelled up.
