Chapter 15 by sexyslave sexyslave

Does anything special happen on the way to Ferox?

Chrom makes a practical wish, and the servitude contest escalates!

They were on the road as Robin was talking animatedly with several members of the Shepards. Chrom had mentioned it would take a few days to reach Ferox, so she was taking the time to get to know what she could about each member, including their strengths and weaknesses. If she was to be the tactician of the Shepards, she needed to know all she could about them. This was not only her role, but also another way to serve Chrom, so this also satisfied her genie nature. Though she could do without Frederick's suspicions that this was a convenient cover to spy. They had soon stopped to make camp, setting up tents.

"Robin!" Chrom called to her as she was looking through the dossier she was building, written in a code she had made up in case it ended up in the wrong hands. "I have a wish to make things a little less miserable for us when we get closer up north."

"Go ahead!" she smiled.

"It's very cold up there, so I wish that none of us would feel it, so any amount of skin exposure would cause no discomfort. Is that sexual enough?" he asked her.

"Just barely," she smiled, snapping her fingers. "It's done." Chrom nodded, and they headed to his tent so Robin could advise him based on what she had learned.

Frederick was waiting in the tent, eager to give a report of his own. "Milord, I have completed the patrol of the encampment. No sign of any of our enemies. I think we'll be safe here for tonight," he spoke.

"I concur. I also took a look around. Just to be safe though, I drew up a night watch schedule for everyone," Robin added, pulling a sheet out of the notebook that held her tactical notes.

"Good to hear. Thank you both," Chrom said, pretending not to notice the sour look Frederick was giving Robin.

"I also took it upon myself to inspect everyone's weapons, including spare ones," Frederick nodded. "I have placed ones that show excessive wear outside this pavilion. Sell or repair them, I recommend swift action."

"I helped with that," Robin replied, to which Frederick begrudgingly conceded. "I also separated the piles into ones I recommend selling for scrap metal, and ones I personally think can be repaired. Oh, and I also made sure to bring a spare axe after hearing Vaike has a reputation for losing his. I had Stahl stow it in his saddlebags," Robin grinned, making Frederick grimace.

"Erm, yes, thank you both..." Chrom replied.

Frederick and Robin continued to rattle off their reports, Frederick listing off tents he reinforced to avoid Chrom accidentally destroying them during training, Robin having one upped him by actively marking off some open areas she considered good training spots away from said tents. Frederick then brought a bunch of blankets he had procured for the group, before admitting that Robin had also been involved, and saved some money by buying older ones and mending them flawlessly. Apparently seamstress skills were included in the genie package.

Chrom grew more and more mentally exhausted just hearing them lost off the tasks they completed, and Frederick continued to grow flustered, before grinning, sure he had gotten one over on Robin with the last thing he had done. "Oh, and I thought I might bolster our recruitment and troop morale," he began.

What did Frederick do?
