Was he?

Well… When the heroes who were speeding to save those falling, they failed to stop two of the plummeting figures, as they rushed down at immense speeds, before crashing through a few buildings, launching rubble every which way.

All the while, Donovon had sent one of the Green Lanterns into orbit, flying away at speeds nearly fast enough to flay their skin, as he reached an arm out, grabbing Wonder Woman in his absurd grip, as he threw her well over a thousand miles to the east.

Donovon then reared his arm back, smacking an oblivious Clark Kent with a kryptonite smack, as he shared a similar flight with Wonder Woman, overcoming his own prodigal flight.

Donovon then reached his other hand out, towards Power Girl, as he shrouded her in a mist of blue, as she disappeared from sight, onto an unfamiliar planet of blue, as well.

But something had shifted since Donovon had left, by his indirect hand, a newly appeared sun of his system’s orbit had become red, pulsing against the surfaces of his planets, the effects of which were obvious, as Donovon resumed his training session.

And what better action for training, than the absolutely unmanageable situation getting worse? So, for that thought, Donovon’s already titanic form started growing further, reaching 20,000 feet tall after five seconds, 30,000 after ten, 50,000 after twenty…

The remaining people witnessing this absurd figure's growth, many who had been fighting against him, simply gave up… leaving less than five remaining to oppose him.

Shazam had returned, as Donovon reached out a newly gargantuan finger, comparable to the largest skyscraper in existence, as he flicked away the five remaining figures, as he stopped time around their forms…

And slowly, matching the motions of his absurd finger, the orbit of the Earth had slowed to a stop. And this left Donovon to look about the planet, comparing its form to his own.

This led Donovon to return the victims of his movements, as he flashed their forms onto the surface of the Earth, purging their minds, as he set the time free…

Then, Donovon left, floating away from the planet, passing by Mars in seconds, by Uranus in less than a minute, and simply exiting the galaxy in five, as he left the entirety of the Sun’s orbit.

And then, after an hour of traversing the cosmos, he reached an empty void… And what was beyond that?

An endless nothingness… And beyond that?

Donovon would find that, as he flew in the direction of nothing, flying faster than could possibly be perceived by mortal eyes.

And all throughout the entirety of the abyss of space, far past the furthest borders of the known universe, Donovon was currently flying through, tearing fabrics of reality from their seams, filling the empty space beyond the vastness he’d left behind.

But, what did his cosmic senses feel now? Some threat that he’d somehow forgotten… What was this threat, that was becoming ever more clear as he approached the horizon…? Some nearly omnipresent feeling throughout the entirety of what he passed, and even further the opposite way, far encompassing what he’d previously been within, and now that he was out of the influence of the dangers sphere, he felt the origin, as he looked into the direction which called to him, from all the way across the universe.

What could Donovon perceive from outside of the cosmic pull of the unknown entities within? He couldn’t really tell, but that gave him something else he was interested in…

Who was it, that could compare to what he was now? What sort of being was able to evade his senses? And where could Donovon find them?

He was only a little interested in finding the foes who could stand up to his might… That was a lie, completely, as Donovon was nearly bursting from the seams, as an eerie grin came across his colossal form, his curiosity far surpassing any other emotion his form was capable of processing.
