"Shinji!" Hiyori grumbled.

"It's fine, Hiyori. Besides, he's tight with Urahara, who helped stabilize us when we started going Hollow, and got us out of Soul Society. And he's right, we do share a mutual enemy. And it's not like he's fully on Soul Society's side either, just has some buddies there," Shinji shrugged. "Based on what he said, he'll fight with us if Soul Society starts anything once Aizen is dealt with. And it's not like we had any grand plans to take over the place either, we just don't want much to do with them."

"Sounds good to me. Live and let live, right?" Ichigo asked Shinji, who nodded.

"Right then, first thing's first," Shinji stated, reaching up for his scalp. Ichigo watched intently for any clues on how controlling a Hollow was done as Spiritual Energy formed at Shinji's fingertips, before he pulled his hand down, manifesting his Hollow mask on his face. "You first, Ichigo."

"...I'm sorry, what do you expect me to do, exactly?" Ichigo questioned.

"Give control to the Hollow inside, of course," Shinji replied. "We need to have an idea of just what we are dealing with. How strong your Hollow is, shit like that. Then we can focus on training you to control it. Don't worry, there are eight of us here who can control our own Hollows, so you don't need concern yourself with our safety. You can be restrained simple enough once we get a proper feel. Oh, and you might want to step back, Ms. Kuchiki."

"You sure about this?" Ichigo asked as Rukia walked away.

"Positive. So, can you give up control at will, or do I need to push you first?" Shinji asked.
