First Holly has to get up to go back to work.

With Holly on top of you, you wrap your arms around her torso just above her belly button. She rests one hand on top of yours and snuggles in a little before going still, her breathing becomes more shallow.

"Hey, don't go back to sleep," you tell her.

"Mmm... don't worry, sweetie, I'm not, I've just waited a long time for this and want it to last for as long as I can," she whispers.

"A long time for this?" you ask, enjoying the feel of her hair on your chin.

"Yeah, a bond with a guy strong enough so we can be comfortable enough to do this," she replies softly.

"I've had sex with guys before obviously," she continues seriously. "Good sex, sometimes even great sex, but afterwards there's never really been that spark that makes me just want to be with them even if we're really just doing nothing at all. It's always been kinda empty, hollow."

She stays quiet for a few minutes before speaking again. "Hell, sometimes I've woken up to them sneaking out on me," she says sadly.

At that you kiss the top of her head and gently squeeze her hand. "They're idiots, sweetie."

"Thanks, I know," she smiles, squeezing your hand back before being quiet again.

"I think the thing was we never had a emotional connection before the sex, so why should there be one after?" she questions rhetorically.

"I never believed in love at first sight -- hell, I'm not sure if I still don't -- but the moment I saw you I felt some kind of connection," she barely audibly whispers. "I don't know... All I'm saying is that this is the first time in my life this has happened to me and I'd like to savor it a little."

You kiss the top of her head again. "The first time you smiled at me," you start.

"Huh?" Holly wonders.

"The first time you smiled at me out at that farm, you had me. I don't know about love at first sight either but I do know that there is something between us and I'd like to see where it leads us together," you tell her.

With that she gets up on all fours and straddles over you, looking you in the eye. "John, are you asking me to be your girlfriend?"

"For now," you smile, looking right back at her. "I hope it will lead to something more later, but for now, yes Holly, will you be my girl."

"Absolutely," she says, beaming That Smile at you. Her eyes are slightly wet with tears as she comes down for a long kiss.

"I hope it leads somewhere to," she whispers, still smiling, after you break the kiss. "But now I reeeeally have to get back to work." She rubs the tears from her eyes.

"No, I know it will lead somewhere," she declares to you both. As she gets up off of you and heads to the bathroom, you watch her retreating form with a satisfied smile of you own.
