She took a bite too and looked at him, curious what he would think.

"Okay, this is pretty good," he smiled. "Though that might just be that hunger is called the best sauce," he joked.

Luna licked her lips. "Does that apply to just food?"

Kazuma grinned and Luna blushed. "Oh my. Sorry, that was a bit forward wasn't it?"

"Honestly, a little, but I don't mind that much," he assured her.

Kazuma felt his vitality restoring by the minute. Maybe a side effect of his wish about a higher level of life ****? He smiled as he enjoyed his meal.

"So... Any other noteworthy Adventurers around here?" Kazuma asked.

"No not really. Oh wait there is this one guy with a magic sword. I forgot his name though. He usually had two girls with him too," she said.

"Ah, I see. So this town really is just for beginner Adventurers then?" he asked, before taking another bite.

"Is that some sort of slang where you come from? I mean plenty of towns are for beginner adventures," Luna asked as she sipped her wine. "But yes. Mostly. Though that may change if she the Demon King's general stats in the area."

"Ugh, no kidding. How are beginners supposed to get money and experience of only the most powerful monsters haven't essentially gone into hiding?" Kazuma asked.

The dinner continued with nice subtle chat and Luna even packed up a dinner for both Darkness and Megumin. Yet Luna set it casually on the stand next to the door instead of handing it to Kazuma directly.

"Thanks," Kazuma stated, wondering what the gesture was about, turning to face Luna.

"I guess they are waiting. So you can't stay long. But do you have to go now?" Luna asked.

"Did you have something else in mind? I think they can wait another thirty minutes or so. I'm bringing them dinner after all, they shouldn't be entitled enough to complain," he snorted. "...ah who am I kidding? I'll just summarily ignore that complaint."

Luna leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. She looked at him nervous, it was clear that she thought she may have taken too much initiative there.
