Reveals Rose to him

Heart racing, Rose realized she had been caught. Draco's eyes narrowed, his wand flickering to life in an instant. Crabbe gaped, his own wand pointing at her with trembling hands. The Slytherin common room had gone eerily quiet, the only sound the crackling of the fireplace as it reflected the tension in the room.

"What do you think you're doing, spying on me?" Draco's voice was low and venomous.

Rose took a step back, her own wand drawn and at the ready. "I was just passing by," she lied, her voice steady despite the fear coursing through her veins.

"Expelliarmus." Draco take her wand as Crabbe grabs her.

The wand flew from her hand and into Draco's outstretched arm, the **** of the spell causing her to stumble back into Crabbe's waiting grip. She struggled, but Crabbe's beefy arms held her fast. Draco's sneer grew wider as he approached her, his wand pointing at her chest like an accusing finger.

"I knew you couldn't be trusted," he spat. "What did you hear?"

Rose's mind raced, trying to come up with a believable excuse. "Nothing," she insisted, her voice tight. "I just tripped over a book and stumbled in here."

Draco's eyes searched hers, looking for the truth. "You heard about my mission, didn't you?" he sneered. Rose shook her head as Draco makes Crabbe bend her over. "You will tell me," he threatened, raising his wand to her neck.
