The two boys easily made their way to the Yamanaka flower shop. As they entered, they saw Ino mulling over some flowers.
"Welcome!" she said without even turning around. "I'll be with you in just a moment."
"It's just me mom." Inojin said dejectedly.
"Oh. Inojin?" Ino asked, but as she heard a second set of feet she spun around. Her eyes went wide as she saw Boruto there as well.
"Boruto? What are you doing here? I assume your mom sent you here to pick up some flowers? Or did you sneak out again?" She asked, a bit of sass in her voice.
"Actually, mom ungrounded me today." He said plainly. Ino was clearly taken aback by this.
"Wait, really? She seemed very certain that you'd be grounded for a while." Ino said curiously.
"Well... I was able to convince her." He said as he snapped in front of her face.
Ino immediately went blank, staring ahead mindlessly.
"Woah. What was that?" Inojin asked, seeing this new state his mother had gone into.
"Oh right! I forgot. You only saw my mom after this stage. So right now she's basically in a trance. Blank and mindless. For my mom, I specifically commanded her to wake up and down everything I asked as though it was a game. But you don't have to do that. You can keep her like this if you want. She'll still do anything you say as long as I say... Well... Ino, I will be sharing you with Inojin. Follow his orders just like you would follow mine" he said.
"Yeeessss..." Ino droned.
Boruto looked to Inojin, gesturing towards the blank, mindless woman as if to say 'Go ahead"
