"Um... okay, look, Ms. Hagraven, whatever happened between us was a mistake brought about by only the Nine know what I drank, so... if I could have the ring back?" Viktor asked awkardly.

"What? You want it for that hussy Esmerelda, with the dark feathers, don't you? I won't let her have you!" the hagraven shrieked, before lunging for Viktor.

"Fus!" Viktor Shouted, and a shockwave erupted from his throat, striking the Hagrraven dead on and making her stumble. At the same time, he drew his sword, and took a step forward, thrusting his blade into the creature's chest.

The hagraven shrieked, and tried to claw at him with her dying gasp, but an arrow found her throat, courtesy of Lydia. She went down, dead. Viktor sighed and sheathed his blade. "Well, we tried the diplomatic way, she jumped straight to ****. Still, it was a nice, brief rush..." As he got the ring back from the corpse, Lydia continued to chuckle.

"Well, all the ladies in Skyrim ought to be happy to know that the Dragonborn is single again," she teased him.

"Don't even start, and let us never speak of this again. Thank Talos that I had yet to sleep with her, based on what she said about consumating the marriage..."

"Sure, but you know, who knows what I might do when I have a few drinks. As you know yourself, things can get unpredictable," Lydia chortled, and Viktor groaned as they returned to the road to head to the place of the "wedding venue." He'd give the ring back to Ysolda when he was next in Whiterun. "...so, you worship Talos then?" Lydia asked after a moment, taking a second to glance around to make certain no Thalmor patrols were about. "You said the Nine instead of the Eight, and thanked Talos back there."

"Yeah, I do. Problem?" Viktor asked.

(Side note, anyone have thoughts about what side Viktor should fight for in the Civil War, if either? I'm leaning more towards him just being neutral myself. Of course, regardless of what course he takes, any Thalmor he runs across will be brutally murdered.)
