Flawlessly

Byleth waited with Manuela and Edelgard outside of Hanneman's office where he was quizzing Monica, Seteth and a number of guards in the room with them. "Do you think Monica will be okay?" Manuela asked uncertainly.

"She'll be fine" Edelgard said with confidence, before looking at the school nurse. "Why are you here, though? You're the head of the Golden Deer house this year."

"I'm here to look after the well-being of all students and faculty, not just my own." Manuela gave a playful huff. "Not only did the impostor escape, but if Monica isn't a spy, she's undoubtedly gone through some serious trauma and will need to talk about it with someone. And if she is an impostor..." She put a hand on Byleth's thigh. "I'm here to help look after the Black Eagle's mental to the best of my abilities. I should make an effort to help out our new professor, after all."

Byleth patted her shoulder in response. Though, having had some time to think about it, it seemed unlikely Monica has been replaced by a spy. That Kronya girl they had fought. was probably supposed supposed to replace Monica given how they had found her, assuming the pale opponent could also shapeshift. Still, this should prove beyond a shadow of a doubt whether Monica was a spy or not.

After several minutes had passed in silence, the door opened, Hanneman and Seteth walking out first. Edelgard spoke up first. "So, what is the verdict?" She asked the two of them, her voice tense.

Seteth simply held up a hand to try and calm her. "It seems that she is the real Monica after all." He replied with a sigh.

"She remembered everything I asked her about." Hanneman said, nodding with satisfaction. "In some cases, even better than I did."

"Well, that is good." Edelgard sighed with a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. Monica came out right afterwards, walking straight over to Edelgard, Sothis giggling as she floated behind her. "I'm just glad it's over. Lady Edelgard, I'm ready to resume serving you with everything I've got!" She gave a salute to the future empress, before looking at Byleth with a slight blush. "Oh, and of course you Professor." She tilted her head a little before looking back to Edelgard.

"Oh, and she has a sexy little figure too~!" Sothis cheered. Ignoring the frisky genie, Manuela tapped Byleth's shoulder and whispered in his ear while the others were focued on Monica and Edelgard. "By the way, Leonie has been considering changing houses recently, and I've heard that Ingrid might follow suit soon, too~"

Byleth nodded and looked back at the conversation happening before him. In addition to adding Monica to his lesson plans, he needed to consider his potential new students too.
