"It hardly matters where you are," Koneko then told Asia after the good humor faded. "You can hardly stay here, given what we are, and what you are."

"Hey, she doesn't have anywhere else to go!" Issei immediately protested.

"That's not our concern," Koneko replied to Issei. "We let you get her out of harm's way, but the fact remains that she is a genuine danger to us. She's part of the church, the antithesis of Devils. If you thought with the right head, you'd realize that we can't exactly keep her around." Asia looked down at this, not having words.

Issei spluttered, offended at the implication that he only wanted to save Asia because she was beautiful. Pervert he might be, but he had a heart, dammit! "Hey, I get why you all are afraid of her, but..."

"Issei, for obvious reasons, I don't want to go against you..." Rias replied, crossing her arms. "However, we agreed that matters regarding the Peerage are under my purview," she added. "Unless you wish to assert that authority over me, I have to make a decision based on what's best for the Peerage as a whole. That said, I'm prepared to shield Asia if the benefits outweigh the costs."

"President, you can't be serious!" Koneko protested. "She poses too much a risk no matter how you look at it!"

"I have to agree with Koneko on this one," Akeno supplied. "She could cause us a lot of pain with a simple prayer, let alone the fact that the Fallen Angels would go to great lengths to get her back... She's a target."

"Yeah, well, they already acted against us with that Stray Exorcist," Kiba replied, actually on Issei's side. "I'd say we already have a target on our back, given they're completely disregarding the truce. Not to mention, given what Issei already mentioned about her Sacred Gear, we don't want to be giving such a powerful healing ability back to them..."

Rias nodded at all points thoughtfully.
