Payment plan decisions.

Taken by surprise I freeze a little from the woman’s strict voice, she was really kind of scary in a way.

I thought on it for a moment, if I really wanted to, I could have all three of them, but that would seriously be stretching the moral I managed to stamp out from not paying for the items. So I guess one would have to do it.

So I think about all of the items and look through the downsides of each.

Absorption shield, they are able to take any powerful attack as long as it doesn’t do over the five elements, and apart from a little shock in my arm, I should be fine. Besides, no one would be targeting me directly, thank you earrings

However useful it was, it didn’t really help me from particular attacks, I don’t think I will ever really be prepared for my ally to fire magic through my back to reach the enemies; the shield wouldn’t really cut it.

Plus, I wouldn’t protect me from numerous other problems should a danger present itself, who knows what kind of wizards are out there, maybe they would bombard the area with several hundreds of lightning, or some weird demon giant that could rearrange the landscape by simple brute ****.

The bubble is a little more my style, total protection and no repercussions, however, it kind of has a glaring flaw that I nearly experienced.

I am completely helpless inside it, I couldn’t influence the movement of the bubble at all, heck, I was being carried away by a breeze, and I think it is pretty scary that I would have to wait until it dispelled to be able to get out again.

And last the Castle, I was kind of leaning towards to, because of the useful attachments of being able to use spells to protect myself and not use up my magic level, it was certainly a prize, but I didn’t have mobility, it was like digging up a trench and ducking down behind it, I will be pretty useless if I am restricted to chucking spells over the walls, and I am pretty limited in that category.

So considering all of them…

“The absorption shield” I told her, I would be able to move around with it everywhere I want, and I could bring it to bear when need be, I just have to be on my toes just in case.

“Good” Lulu then turned to Tifa, who had retrieved the shield and then held it in her arms, not giving it to me.

Shit, I need to find a way to for her to give it before she asks for the payment; I don’t think I have the courage to pry that thing out of her hands.

“So? I assume you have the money to pay for it?” that cold voice she had made me very scared, seriously.

Thinking fast, I came up with a good idea.

“It is normal for your shop to accept sexual favours as alternate payment… right?” I hid my grin as Lulu didn’t dismiss me and actually nodded her head to my words.

“Of course, it is a practice not held by other store but we do so, it is rather strange however that we haven’t received such a thing in a while, I suppose they were intimidated by our curse” she shrugged.

“But of course” she continued, her eyes narrowing slightly, “I expected your payment to be the first one, keep in mind the next time you are here to say your preferred payment up front”

I nodded frantically, not wanting to piss off the woman.

“The procedure is simple” Lulu told me as she crossed her arms under her breasts, “You choose either me, or one of my daughters and are given a spare bedroom, after both of you are worn out significantly, your chosen partner will evaluate if your technique, skill and stamina during sex was satisfactory enough to pay off the price”

She gestured to the door behind her, “The bedroom is that way, if by chance you are not fit enough to pay off it off entirely, then you will have to have several more sessions before we deem that you have paid it off, or we have a rent system for the local wizards, simply with a rising price for how long you borrow it for”

I was stunned for a second as I processed her words, all I said that it was normal, but she just went along and made a whole system for the thing! Was this the earrings? Or was Lulu so dedicated that she made this herself.

My eyes then glanced over Levy, who was still wearing that satisfied expression, I already connected the dots, and honestly, I was incredibly curious about how exactly that happened, but meh, I guess I’ll ask later.

Because in a few short minutes, I am going to be enjoying the best transaction of my life, now which one should I choose…
