Chapter 4 by Cfond Cfond

Are there any stops on the way to the festival?

Nope

As Mackenzie and Willow walk into the festival they feel like they have been transported back in time. As they step through a castle-like gate marked with a sign reading “Ye Olde Faire”. The air is thick with the scent of roasted turkey legs, sweet cinnamon nuts, and fresh hay. Music drifts in maybe a lute, maybe a Celtic drum beat. Through the gate the path ahead is lined with timber-framed booths that look like they were pulled out of a medieval painting. They see stalls that seem like they sell everything from handcrafted jewelry and swords to spell books and clothing. Looking up in the air flags and pennants flap in the breeze overhead. Barrels, hay bales, and wooden benches dot the area. All through the streets performers and guests are dressed as town criers, wenches, knights, nobles, and even jesters.

Where do they go first?
