Chapter 51

Mr Nice Guy
What's next?
The Queen's Court
Stephanie blew her whistle with sharp authority, the sound slicing through the late-afternoon air.
"Again!" she shouted over the music. "Tighter arms this time, and I want sharper turns from the back row!"
The girls scrambled back into formation—ponytails swishing, sneakers squeaking across the scuffed gym floor. Stephanie paced like a queen surveying her court, clipboard tucked against her hip, eyes tracking every detail.
It was the last full practice before Friday's home game—the game. Tickets had sold out four days ago. Standing room only. She'd already heard scalpers were listing them for triple.
And it wasn't because the football team was good.
It was because of her.
GirleyRiley.
The GirleyRiley.
Stephanie still remembered the tryouts. Riley had strutted in wearing a pastel pink miniskirt and a fishnet crop top, lip gloss like glass, lashes for days. Stephanie had braced for a joke, maybe a TikTok stunt. How could she have not? The girl had wore pasties and no bra. Seriously.
Instead?
Riley had stuck every landing. Hit every count. She'd even brought her own music mix. And then she'd finished with a spontaneous, sultry cartwheel and winked straight at the football boys in the bleachers, leaving a trail of dropped jaws.
Stephanie had, of course, said yes on the spot.
Honestly, even if Riley hadn't been good, Stephanie would have said yes. She'd been following Riley online for a while and was totally obsessed. Just like most of her friends, she'd started on the makeup tutorials, but had quickly found her on every platform she could find. Having the chance to spend time with her IRL? No brainer.
Three weeks later, Riley wasn't just a cheerleader—she was the cheerleader. Her fans had turned practice clips into trending hashtags. #CheerleyRiley. #RileyRising. Videos of her toe-touches were racking up views before the team even finished cooldown stretches.
And today? Today Riley was on fire.
"Let's take it from the stunt!" Stephanie called. "Big energy, ladies! Give 'em something to scream about!"
The beat dropped. The girls moved. Riley hit the center formation with a blinding smile, glitter catching the light like camera flashes. Her high ponytail whipped with every turn. Her skirt fluttered like it had choreography of its own. When they launched her into the air, she struck a pose that was pure sex and sunshine—so magnetic it made Stephanie's clipboard twitch in her grip.
Goddamn, she thought. She's a star.
Even with the time off Riley had taken to have her face done, the girl was unstoppable. It was as if she was fully aware of every part of her body, fully willing to use it to draw eyes. It was as if she had some sort of superpower, like magic sexiness. Most of Stephanie's friends all talked about it. She'd even caught her own boyfriend jacking off to GirleyRiley videos in the evenings. Stephanie didn't blame him. There had been a few that she'd seen lately that had enticed her to the same thing.
When the routine ended and the girls froze in place, panting and flushed, Stephanie blew her whistle again.
"Better," she called. "That's the energy I want on Friday night!"
The formation broke. The girls laughed, stretching out tired limbs. Riley bounced over, cheeks pink, lip gloss still somehow perfect.
"Was that okay?" she asked, breathless and bright-eyed.
Stephanie raised a brow, her heart racing in the way she'd become accustomed when she spoke to the sex-pot. "Okay? You just sold out a stadium, princess."
Riley giggled and tugged her skirt into place. "Just doing my job. Besides, people are coming to see the boys. To see Chase."
She skipped off to grab her water bottle, surrounded in seconds by teammates, unaware of how wrong she was. Stephanie loved football, but if she wasn't there to cheer, she wouldn't be watching the game either.
Later, with the sun dipping low over the gym windows, Stephanie dropped the playlist into something breezy and bubblegum. Cooldown time. The girls flopped onto their mats in soft piles, water bottles clutched like trophies. Shoes came off. Someone passed around gummy bears. The air smelled like body spray, fruit snacks, and sweat.
"Okay, so," said Kenzie, flopping onto her belly. "Last night, Darnell comes onto me again. Third time. This time in front of my mom. The guy thinks he's God's gift, right?"
Laughter bubbled up around the circle. The gossip started flowing—boyfriends and backseats, risky texts in bio class, who cried after their first time and who pretended not to.
"Okay, Riley," one of the juniors said, eyes sparkling. "You've been suspiciously quiet. Spill. What's it like dating Chase freaking Donovan?"
"Ooooh," came the collective chorus.
Riley sat daintily cross-legged on her mat, her hands smoothing the tops of her thighs. She would have been the perfect picture of demure teasing, had she not already been the perfect picture of the reincarnation of Venus. "He's..." She fluttered her lashes. "He's, like, everything I could have wanted. Strong, sweet... I'm learning so much being his girlfriend."
She paused dramatically, letting her blush build, taking note that her audience was rapt. "He always smells amazing. Like kind of woody, but also kind of manly. You know?"
The girls squealed.
"And get this," Riley added, voice dropping to a near-whisper, "last night, when we were kissing, he, like, totally felt me up. I've never had a boy touch my girls before."
"Seriously? Oh, I'm so sure." Natalie groaned, burying her face in a towel. "Come on, Riley, We've all seen what you do to Online. You're no Mother Teresa."
But Riley wasn't done. She leaned in, conspiratorial. "Come on, that's all just practice. Girls like me aren't used to that kind of attention in the real world."
"Oh my God!" Kenzie screeched, throwing a gummy bear at her. "You're the worst! Don't stop!"
"No—listen." Riley’s voice wobbled with laughter. "The best part about Chase? His cock is so, like, fucking amazing. I could stare at it all day and all night. Every time I see it, every time I touch it, it's like I'm falling in love. I know I'm going to school to learn and get a career, but I already know what I want to do when I grow up. And it's in Chase's shorts!"
More shrieking. Someone kicked off a shoe. Someone else fanned themselves with a water bottle.
"Oh. My. God." someone moaned, face in her hands.
Stephanie watched from a few feet away, arms crossed over her chest, half-smirking.
Riley was so amazing. Online. In person. On the field. A rising star had dropped right into their orbit, and somehow, she glowed brighter for it.
GirleyRiley.
Center of their formation.
Center of their gossip.
Center of their world.
Stephanie didn't need to say anything. She just blew her whistle one last time as the sun dipped behind the bleachers.
Practice was over.
The girls got up. Riley ran up to Stephanie and thanked her for being a good coach. The pair hugged, breasts pressed together, body heat shared between the two scantily clad young women. Stephanie wondered if any of the sparkle that seemed to stick to Riley's skin had rubbed on on her.
They were walking into game day like an army of glitter and lightning.
And Riley? Riley was their secret weapon.
But it wasn't the game that Stephanie thought about as she lay in bed that night, her hand snaking its way into her pajama bottoms. It was Riley's body, her breasts, pressed up against her, both of their arms wrapped around each other. As her finger entered her warm, hungry slit, she decided to speak to her boyfriend in the morning. Since they shared an affection for GirleyRiley's more racy stuff, maybe they could watch it together.
