As much as Jason wanted to flirt back, he had other things to do. Namely, he was going to meet with Lexi to discuss something.

He spotted her out by the quad.

"Hey, babe," he called.

She saw him, smiled, and waved. "Jason! Hi!"

As they kissed, Jason realized--he didn't want to use his powers on Lexi. Not when she was the best thing that ever happened to him. But he did want to tell her about his powers. And to do that and have her believe him, he'd need a test subject.
