Her parents are supportive

"Hi sweetheart," her mother said on the other line with an accent.

"I'm so sorry for all this," Kacey began to explain, "the lady at the admissions office said th-"

"Mija," her mother cut her off, "no need to worry about all this. I think it's cute my little girl is a genius and a daredevil!"

"What about papá?" Kacey was wondering what her father would think about his daughter baring it all in front of the crowd.

"He thought it was .... very interesting," Kacey's mother chuckled while Kacey blushed. "Are you still on campus?"

"I just left," Kacey explained as she merged onto the boulevard to take her through the mountains and home.

"Well, we have a party for you at home, and everyone's here and excited to see you," her mother continued. "Anyway, I won't keep you. See you at home!"

"See you!" Kacey hung up the call. Was it just her, or did her mother put an accent on the "see you" part? A dirty thought started to fill her mind...
