Cool as always

Keith just nodded and hugged Pidge back as much as he could. The hugs got weaker and weaker until all three of them stood in the middle of the room, side by side. They kept glancing at each other, more or less measuring if the others had changed in some way since last seeing them.

“Sooo, how’s everyone been?” Pidge said to break the silence.

“Fine, just dandy. I barely got a second for myself on this mission.” Lance said half-angrily.

“Yeah, same.” Keith agreed and meant it as a comment of his own mission.

Pidge looked a bit disappointed by the short answers, but immediately continued to keep the conversation alive.
