Chapter 134 by Yelawolf Yelawolf

She...

Have her first meetings with Dumbledore

Rose get a message from an older Slytherin about attending a secret meeting with Dumbledore. She's nervous but intrigued, feeling like this could be her chance to prove herself and learn more about the school's hidden secrets. She waited impatiently for the appointed time, her heart thumping in her chest like a drum announcing a battle.

The meeting was in Dumbledore's office, and the moment she stepped through the gargoyle's mouth, she felt a sense of familiarity wash over her. The room was filled with the smell of old books, the flicker of candlelight, and the comforting presence of the headmaster himself.

"Harry, I'm glad you made it. I know you had a busy first couple of weeks. Getting in good with your fellow Slytherin students. How are you feeling?" Dumbledore asked, his voice a warm, grandfatherly comfort.

Rose, trying to keep her emotions in check, replied, "I'm okay, Professor. Just trying to find my way around, you know."

Dumbledore's eyes twinkled with understanding. "Ah, the trials of being new. But I suspect there's more on your mind than just navigating the social waters of Hogwarts. But let begin your first lesson."

Over the next hour, Rose see the way Tom Riddle is brought into this world. How his mother used a love potion on a muggle man and gave birth to a child who would grow up to be the most feared wizard of all time. Rose sees Voldemort uncle and grandfather taken away to the wizarding prison for allege killing Tom Riddle Sr. She see his history laid bare to her eyes.

As the Pensieve's memories swirl around her, she feels a deep sadness for the boy who would become the dark lord. But she also feels a sense of purpose, understanding now what she's been chosen to do. Dumbledore had seen something in her, something that could be used to combat the darkness that Voldemort brought into the world.

Dumbledore looks at her. "Harry... I mean Rose. I can tell something is off about you. Are you okay?"

Rose didn't want to tell him about the bullying from Draco and Pansy. She shook her head. "It's nothing, Professor. I just have a lot on my mind with schoolwork and everything."

Dumbledore dismissed her with a knowing nod, and she left his office feeling a mix of emotions. The weight of the mission she had accepted was now even heavier, knowing the depth of Voldemort's tragic beginnings. As she walked back to the Slytherin common room, her mind reeled with thoughts of the potion she had handed over to Pansy.
