Chase those thieves!

A Couple Minutes Before...
Ahsoka rushed out the Tomboy Outback after the floating white haired girl, easily spotting her and her compatriot running across the atrium. Ahsoka was glad that she had picked out a maid outfit that did not come with heels. Instead, she had slightly more practical boots with lacy trim and plenty of ribbons with non-slip soles. Easily jumping onto a kiosk selling knick knacks, Ahsoka jumped up onto the mall’s second floor to get the high ground. Wincing at the loud crash behind her, Ahsoka ran forward with Diana flying up with her while Laura, and Erza pursued from the ground floor.

The female ‘Kazuma’ as James identified her was knocking down displays and shoving partying or bystanding Character into Laura and Erza’s way. “Seriously,” Ahsoka frowned as Laura would cut through a mannequin with an expensive looking dress with her metal claws while Erza would just barreled through a display filled with all natural honey. “They do remember James will have to pay for all that?” The shouts of victimized Characters (including a dark skinned girl in a skimpy bumblebee outfit) indicated as such.

“He won’t be able to pay without his wallet,” Diana said simply though Ahsoka could feel her apprehension. Diana then commented as they ran, “the thieves haven’t realized we are up here.”

“I’ll get the flyer, you get the other one,” Ahsoka declared as she jumped on the railing just as they reached an intersection in the mall. She didn’t wait for Diana’s reply as she dove for the white haired girl. The two thieves had slowed down as they reached the intersection, glancing this way or another for an escape route which the crowd of Characters congregating for some reason had stymied.

Unfortunately, the female Kazuma suddenly shouted a warning, “Dani! Above!” The ‘Dani’ whirled around with glowing hands and immediately spotted Ahsoka in her maid outfit clad glory and fired a beam at the Togruta. Ahsoka let out a cry as the burning green beam plowed into her chest and sent her flying into a storefront filled with spheres of various kinds.

Ahsoka groaned and rubbed her chest, only to pause and glance down. “Well that’s just great.” She brushed off the fact her maid outfit now had a cleavage window and that her bra was ruined and refocused on the thieves. Ahsoka saw the Kazuma girl dodge Diana’s attack and toss James’ wallet to Dani who fumbled the wallet in surprise. Feeling a sensation in the back of her head, Ahsoka focused on the feeling and curled her hand around one of the spheres scattered around her, ignoring the glass.

It was at that moment that the female Kazuma suddenly threw something at Diana. “GAH!” Diana blocked with her bracelets only for an oily substance to splash out and get in her eyes.

“Lurk!” The female Kazuma shouted and started to fade away as Laura charged her. “What the-!” She gasped as she jerked back into view and barely had time to avoid Laura’s claw swipes.

At the same time, the Dani started to fly at her partner after phasing through Erza. Acting quickly, Ahsoka tossed a green and orange ball in her hand and intercepted the Dani before she could reach the female Kazuma. The ball bounced off of the Dani before opening and absorbing her in a red light. Everything except for James’ wallet disappeared with her. Everyone (except Diana who was rubbing her eyes) looked at the now identified CharacterBall: Model DuskBall as it wiggled on the floor before a ding was heard.

“Dammit Dani,” the female Kazuma loudly complained and started to run for the CharacterBall. Only to be stopped short when a glowing rope wrapped around her waist and arms.

“Now, give us the underwear,” Diana demanded as she reeled in the lasso a little. She still had most of a black stain around her eyes but she could see. The female Kazuma looked between Diana and the CharacterBall face twisting, but as soon as Erza and Laura twitched towards her, she acted.

“Teleport,” she said resigned. Diana blinked as Kazuma teleported away.

“Huh.”

“Hey, you are gonna have to pay for that lasso! It's a limited edition!” An angry Gwenpool marched up to Diana as Ahsoka finally got out of the storefront and walked over to pick up the CharacterBall and wallet.

“It's a fake, a real one would stop teleportation,” Diana pointed out as she coiled the lasso. “Anyone have eyes on the Kazuma?” Laura, Erza and Ahsoka all report in the negative but then various Characters from the stores and kiosks they had passed by during the chase started to approach and some of the Characters from the crowd.

“Who is gonna pay for my honey,” a BumbleBee from Teen Titans demanded.

“And my toys!” A Toyman growled with a broken racecar in his hands.

“And the window and the CharacterBall?” A Officer Jenny wearing a smock brandished a broom at the group.

“Why did you ball that poor girl?” an unknown Character within the crowd asked aggressively which caused Ahsoka to notice certain hairbands some of the crowd goers were wearing.

“Umm,” Ahsoka started to say before the comm built into her maid outfit’s cuffs started to chime.
