Jake slept for hours on end. He didn't hear Kristi enter the room. He didn't hear her have a shower. He didn't feel her crawl into bed beside him, and he didn't feel her kiss his cheek and whisper "good night" to him. Jake was dead to the world.

The last day or so had worn him out completely. It felt to Jake like he had created more problems by using the app. He had hoped that it would solve his lackluster sex life, and it did. But at an enormous cost. Jake had constantly worried about the fallout with Charlie and Kristi when they discovered that Jake was the one who impregnated Kristi. Would he be arrested? Ostracized? Divorced? All of these worries lead to Jake falling into a much needed deep slumber.

Jake finally awoke mid day. Kristi had long since gotten out of bed. Jake reached for his phone and checked the countdown on the app. It read just under 2 hours left. Jake contemplated his next move. If he stayed in bed for much longer, his whole family would start to get worried. Jake decided to face his fears and head downstairs. But first, he needed a much deserved shower.

Jake entered the bathroom and locked the door behind him. He knew he didn't have the willpower to reject Kristi's advances. He quickly undressed, cleaned himself and then threw on some clean clothes before heading downstairs.

Downstairs, he saw Charlie, Kristi and his son Thomas all sitting on the couch watching a movie.

"Hey Dad." Charlie said, as she was the first to notice him. Jake noticed that Tom didn't react in a funny way to hearing his mother, Charlie, call Jake Dad. Interesting, Jake thought. Jake went to the kitchen to grab some leftover dinner from last night as he slept through dinner and this morning's breakfast and was starving. He quickly scarfed it all down and entered the family room to join his family.

Kristi offered to sit on the smaller couch with Jake so the kids could spread out on the larger couch. Unable to say no, Jake agreed. Kristi grabbed an oversized blanket and sat down beside Jake, the blanket covering them both from the chest down. Jake already knew where this was heading, and he knew he couldn't and wouldn't stop it.
