TITLE: PREVIOUSLY ON SHE-HULK…

The Central Asian country of Marinmer was recently devastated by an earthquake, but the corrupt government has been selectively withholding international aid shipments from needy citizens.

Unwilling to sit idly by while people suffer and die, Jen called upon her friends, the Lady Liberators, who flew to Marinmer, broke into the warehouses holding the relief supplies, and began distributing food and medicine to the populace. The Marinmer Army was powerless, but Marinmer’s President Par called on his Russian ties to send the Winter Guard, Russia’s answer to the Avengers. A pitched battle between the Liberators and the Guard ended when the Guard realized the extent of the government’s crimes and how badly the populace needed help.

Afterwards, President Par invited Jen to meet with him in his palace and discuss a long-term solution. Expecting treachery, Jen accepted anyway. She directed the rest of the Liberators to stay and continue the relief work so the government couldn’t take advantage of their absence to take **** on the populace.
