Stick with "Deep Ocean Submergence"

After cycling through several options, she settled on "Deep Ocean Submergence" again. The sounds felt appropriate, even if there was that strange undercurrent to them. As the audio surrounded her, she could have sworn the padding beneath her began a subtle, almost imperceptible rocking motion, mimicking the gentle sway of deep waters. Despite her lingering unease, exhaustion pulled her under.

Her first awakening came barely an hour later. Pressure in her lower abdomen dragged her from fitful dreams of sinking into bottomless dark water. She shifted uncomfortably, trying to find a position that would alleviate the growing need in her bladder. All that water she'd drunk with dinner earlier was making itself known.

She tried to roll onto her side. The pod's padding adjusted perfectly to her new position, soft enough that she sank halfway into it, and cradling her with gentle pressure that somehow seemed to press on her stomach even more.

The second time she woke, the ocean sounds had shifted subtly, less like white noise, more like real waves, like the ocean lapping against a rocky shore. Her bladder throbbed insistently, but the thought of navigating the unfamiliar ship in the dark to find facilities seemed impossibly daunting. The chronometer showed she'd only been asleep for another forty minutes.

By the third awakening, the ocean sounds included what she could have sworn was the distinct sound of a waterfall. Her bladder felt painfully full now, and she briefly considered looking for some kind of waste disposal system within the pod itself. Surely a luxury model would include such a feature? A bleary-eyed search through the interface revealed nothing helpful, and she felt herself sink back into padding. She tried rolling onto her back, but there was no way to really lie flat.

The fourth awakening was different. A spike of urgent need jolted her from deep sleep, her hand instinctively pressing between her legs as her bladder threatened immediate rebellion. The ocean sounds now seemed to mock her, all rushing water and crashing waves. Her head swam with grogginess. The idea of clambering out of the pod had never sounded less appealing, much less wandering in search of the facilities, but at this point, what choice did she have?
