In a galaxy far, far away bondage is nothing new be it the restraint of prisoners for transport, for show, or for more nefarious motives.

Some would be restrained with good old-fashioned rope of course such as the prisoners of the Ewoks before being cooked alive, others with steel shackles such as Princess Leia Organa in Jabba’s Palace. Others will be given futuristic restraints such as binders- cuffs that require a key, code, chip, or even identity scanner to release. From there one can upgrade to stun cuffs should the prisoner be rowdy or even dangerous such as Force-User or worse.

For more extreme measures there are even shields designed to keep a prisoner contained within a single location. The possibilities are endless and yet there are more than just restraints in the galaxy far, far away. There are gags as well such as the traditional cleave gags with cloth but then there’s mesh tape- the Star Wars equivalent to duct tape.

In the series Andor during the Heist they even introduced panel gags of all things, remarkable really but there is more.

From the big screen to the small screen, comic books, and novels and even encyclopedias there have been no end to the number of characters who have not only been restrained but gagged as well.

Now add in some classic sex scenes and you have a whole new group interested in the world of Jedi and Sith, Empire vs Rebels, and so much more. The only question is where could this happen and to who?

There’s always the classic Princess Leia in a metal bikini or go further back to when her own mother was in metal restraints and left to be executed. Then there’s further in the future where the scavenger Rey “Skywalker” was taken prisoner several times.

Who says it must be the main character who gets restrained? Several side characters have developed quite a fan base with stories written about their capture.

So now the question is who do we follow? A character from the main series? The countless shows or video games? Perhaps a novel only character? You decide.
