Nadia and Sasha. On the way to the warehouse. To confront the killer.

But as they drove up, the place was on fire. Smoke. Blazing. Burning. Firefighters and police at the scene.

Nadia’s eyes wide.

“Move on…” the police waved the car.

Sasha tensed her hands. This wasn’t supposed to happen. They made a u-turn to the strip club.

Sasha called Jackson. No answer. Fuck!

“Come on. Pick up. Pick up. Pick up!” Sasha said stressed. Her air of cool dissipated. Nadia in the passenger seat as Sasha drove the car — wrestling with the roads. Speechless.

Alice’s ****. Working at a strip club. The killer. The explosion. Nadia never anticipated a life like this. She either had two options: be afraid and run, or step up to the plate and take her best shot.
