A colleague is in trouble.

The problem began about two years ago when I retired. A former colleague of mine named Jake got some heartbreaking news. He and his family just found out his young daughter Sarah had a very rare form of brain cancer. Thankfully, though the doctors caught it extremely early.

Even though the family had good health insurance, it didn't pay for everything. Jake, unfortunately had to dip into his families savings to pay for the bulk of the treatments. Eventually, the families savings ran out. I was pretty well off, so I offered to help pay for Sarah's treatments.

It was about a year ago when Jake came over with one of these bills for Sarah's treatment, when It happened. While Jake was in the living room waiting, I went into the bedroom that had been converted into an home office. I opened my safe that was hidden behind a bookcase. While I was rummaging around in the safe looking for my credit book, I accidentally knocked over one of my extremely rare comic books.

The book that had fallen on the floor had opened up to the page where Poison Ivy or Dr. Pamela Isley had found a cure for this exact form of cancer. "HOLY SHIT JAKE! I THINK I MIGHT HAVE FOUND ANOTHER WAY OF HELPING SARAH!!". I close the safe and bookcase as Jake came running into my office.

"Really! How?" Jake asks.

I showed Jake the comic book and explained it to him. "If I take this comic book series to Realdreams and have them make a world of it, and buy a gate for it, I might be able to enter this world and maybe get the cure for Sarah.".

"Steele, if you would be please try for Sarah, my family and I would be eternally grateful.".

After I payed the bill for Sarah's treatment, I contacted a lawyer to help me navigate and negotiate a deal between Realdreams and myself. After about a week of tense negotiations we finally made a deal.
