Leon sighed. The gents' high school bathroom. Not a pretty sight. It was another one of those days. A whisky gulp from a soup flask sort of day. The bathroom was spick and span by the hour. Leon wasn’t an alcoholic. Not by any means. But ever since Nadia and him broke up — it became a frequent companion.

They were going so well. But they fizzled out. Steamy sex and smiles to zilch.

Alice had died. A real shame… Leon didn’t know her well. But Nadia made her sound like Wonder Woman and a golden retriever in one. Alice sure had style. That was for sure.

Leon had a sneaking suspicion that there was more to them. Nadia had told Leon that Alice liked girls.

Evening hue. After work. Leon turned on the TV. His clean apartment. Cheap. But very clean. He remembered the sex that he used to have with Nadia. It was magnetic. There were a few porn channels on cable. He pressed all the way to the end.
