Chapter 11 by throbbin

Service the manager?

Well he is handsome

You quickly run through the options in your head. You weren't really planning to walk out the door and either blow or screw some guy but you also didn't think Sue could possibly have such terrible credit. You certainly don't want to slut it up and do it right here in his office.

You realize that while you were distracted thinking another part of your brain has been sizing up Mr. Monti, checking out his deep brown eyes, his nice clothes and his well maintained hair and fingers. 'No wedding band' that part thinks, 'single or smooth enough to take it off at work? Like it matters, he's a stud.'

You lean back and stretch, trying to give yourself a moment to think. Halfway through you realize that you just thrust your chest out at him so you freeze. If you wanted to suggest something you couldn't have done it better. The good part is that Monti has trouble hiding how hard he was ogling. You did slip a few of those strawberry flavored condoms into your purse just in case but you don't really want to do him here; you don't know how your body would react.

You finally compose your thoughts and say "Let's just assume parental and spousal guarantees are off the table. And unless there's a teller's position out there the job in an approved industry is probably out too. So when do managers sign off on waivers? I'm guessing it doesn't happen all the time."

Mr. Monti leans back and says "Managers do end up having to sign quite a few waivers. Most often it's for new immigrants who don't have any useful credit history, people who have been cheated out of wages by a bankrupt business or people who have suffered an actual bank error either at our institution or another. The waiver is a way to grease the wheels and start things rolling."

"So you can't do it for someone you know?"

"I can. In fact I have to get to know the person to some degree, otherwise how could I make such a judgement?"

Without consciously thinking about it you adjust your bra strap before saying "I guess it pays to be on good terms with your manager. Um ... I don't think I should take up any more of your time right now but is there somewhere we could meet up later?"

Mr. Monti smiles and tells you "I'm new to to this town and I've been really busy for the last month or so moving into my apartment and setting up this branch. Perhaps you could suggest a place?"

Tell him about the party? Suggest dinner, a movie, his place?
