The President walked towards the elevator, his sharp leather shoes clicking noisily on the polished marble floor. The rotund subordinate walked a step behind him, as expected.

"I trust the narrative is intact?" Shinra asked.

"Rock solid. The people have embraced the Wutai-AVALANCHE conspiracy wholeheartedly. I've almost come to believe it myself," Heidegger said, chuckling dramatically.

"Wutai's response?"

"So far, nothing. And if those cowards do react, all the better for us and our story."
