Stay for a while

You take your time chewing the bacon, mulling over your decision. There's always been safety in numbers, and you can always slip away later if you change your mind, right?

Nodding slightly, you see Sam begin to smile even before you open your mouth to speak, "I'll stick around for a few days, see how things work out." You bite another chunk of bacon off the piece you are holding, "If I'm not more trouble than I'm worth, I'll stick around." You add diplomatically.

"Sounds like a plan," Sam agrees.

The two of you finish your bacon in silence, washing it down with a bottle of water when you are finished.
