At work

Rachel dragged her feet. With sixth form approaching completion, A-level exams looming, she had no choice but to attempt making some money for her tuition and living costs. She was accustomed to a certain way of life, compromising on luxuries such as nice clothes and social outings was out of the question. So, she needed money… desperately.

Thankfully, she had landed a job first try from a posting she found in her paper. She had used her “feminine charms” to land the job. At the interview she wore a loose blouse, a red bra and a skirt too short to cover her underwear.

And it worked, she was offered the job straight after the interview. In retrospect, now that the contract was signed, she felt uncomfortable at the first impression that shed made. It was her attractive body that landed the job, not her skills or experience.

Brushing of her reservations, Rachel steeled herself, the job was only temporary.

“I mean, what’s the worst that could happen?”
