Awkward Silence

The two of you sit in awkward silence. Your mind playing through the hazy events leading to you being here. Rei looks your way, looking unsure of what to say.

"I'm going to go let my dad know your up." She steps towards the door, pausing before opening it, "Would you like something to eat?"

"Yeah," You say softly, realizing just how hungry you really are.

When Rei opens the door, you can see what looks like a small living room beyond before the door creaks closed.
