After Issei had been lectured about the whole debacle, Kiba and Koneko arrived, and they all headed to classes. The school day passed in its usual fashion, and once it did, they all returned to the club. "So, what's my next contract?" Issei asked, trying to look pumped instead of yawning.

"Actually, we have something else today. We received a punitive request from an archduke," Akeno noted.

"A punitive request?" Issei blinked at her.

"A Stray Devil has been located, and has been devouring humans every night," Akeno explained.

"So the request is to take care of it," Kiba nodded.

"Am I going to have to fight?" Issei asked, a bit nervous. "I don't even know what my Sacred Gear does yet!"

Rias giggled. "No, you'll get at least a little combat training before then. But you will be coming along to observe."

Issei nodded, and questioned, "When do we leave?"

"Tonight. We'll be strongest when the sun is down," Akeno told him.

"... won't that also strengthen the stray?" Issei asked.

"It will, yes, but considering we have a numbers advantage, we'll get more out of it than said stray," Rias explained. That made sense, and Issei nodded.

"So, shouldn't I take a contract in the meantime?" he suggested. Rias shook her head.

"You never know how long those drag on. I don't want you missing this."

"...fair enough..." he agreed.
