Despite efforts, you're yet to sire an heir, though perhaps in light of the Sultan's game, it may be **** that you have not.
The capitol city you live in is vaguely eastern, rests adjacent to a desert, and sees itself as a center of trade.
The technology level is roughly bronze age. While there are one of contraptions and practiconers of magic, they are rare and even more rarely prove to be more reliable than hardened warriors. Though perhaps they prefer to maintain that image.
