Nope, she arrives quickly!

"Just what is going on here!?" Glynda Goodwitch demanded as she stormed into the cafeteria, an absolutely thunderous expression on her face as Cardin froze, his fist drawn back, about to attempt to punch Jaune in the face, his other hand gripping the front of Jaune's uniform.

"...whoah, that was fast," Jaune remarked mildly, but clammed up as Goodwitch turned a stern look towards him.

"Professor!" Cardin said quickly, letting go of Jaune's uniform and raising his hands in a placating gesture. "Jaune attacked me out of nowhere, sucker punched me! I swear, I did nothing to provoke him this time!" he immediately bullshitted.

Goodwitch raised an eyebrow so high, Jaune thought it might come detached. She then fished out her scroll, and showed Cardin the picture of him pulling Velvet's ears. "Care to rethink your story, Mr. Winchester?" she asked him. He paled.

"Th-that had nothing to do with him! He didn't have any business attacking me! He was completely unjustified!" Cardin defended himself.

"Really?" Jaune asked. "Coming to the aid of a fellow student being bullied is unjustified?" Cardin turned a glare towards Jaune. Goodwitch sighed and adjusted her glasses.

"Mr. Arc, you're not out of the woods yourself. If Mr. Winchester is being truthful about you assaulting him, then you may well be in trouble yourself. There was no need to escalate the situation, sending me the picture of Mr. Winchester's misdeeds would have sufficed," Goodwitch replied, making Jaune grimace.

"Hey, Cardin was the one in the wrong here! He was being a bully!" Nora protested.

"He is certainly in the most trouble here for instigating this incident, but Mr. Arc doesn't have the excuse of self defense this time around," Goodwitch replied. "He shouldn't have gone straight to **** with no attempt to deescalate."

"...yeah, I probably could have at least warned Cardin to let go of her before throwing a sucker punch," Jaune conceded. Nora pouted and crossed her arms.

"...I still think it's bullshit..." she grumbled. But Jaune saw where Goodwitch was coming from. He has acted hastily, gone straight to ****... That was probably not the best way to approach problems. The confidence Ruby had granted him seemed to be a double edged sword.

Goodwitch took all witness statements, and then left to consider disciplinary measures.
