The Wagon

The wagon was powered by a chocobo, guiding it through the gate and towards the Wall Market. There was a beautiful woman on the back with long dark hair, in a black kimono, with a Wutaiian hairdo. Cloud realized with a start that it was Tifa. She held onto the bars. Was she being kidnapped. Cloud took three steps and jumped onto the back of the cart.

"Tifa?" Cloud said, startling the beauty, who then broke into a happy smile.

"Cloud! You're alive! I thought we'd lost you!"

"What's going on?" Cloud asked, as the chocobo took another step towards the Wall Market.

"I'll explain everything later. But now, I'm on my way to see Don Corneo. You should head back to Seventh Heaven, meet up with the gang. I'll be fine, you know how much ass I can kick," Tifa said, smiling at Cloud. She pushed the blonde twink off gently. Cloud sighed, turning back to the Sector 7 gate.

"Oh no you don't. You're going after her," Aerith said.

"She's a big girl. She can handle the likes of him. And worse," Cloud said, doubt etched on his face.

"Uh-uh. You don't know Corneo. It doesn't matter how strong or smart you think you are. He'll find a way to turn it against you. And where's she going to meet him? A mansion filled with his goons. Come on. Aren't you worried what might happen in there? You have to help her!" Aerith was preaching to the choir here. It was time to rescue Tifa. And as the gate to Sector 7 closed, the choice was clear.
