Dee does not suspect you

Dee's eyes had been fixed on you all night. Even when the others were talking, she was glaring at you. She had clearly been suspicious of you after your interactions earlier in the day. Everyone in the room was waiting for the words to come out of her mouth as she stood there, cupping one first to her chin and hovering around the table like a guillotine blade waiting to drop.

It never dropped. The lights flickered for just a moment, causing Tallula to cry out and the others to look around in momentary shock. By the time they were back to normal, Dee had suddenly seated herself, wearing a blank expression.

"I... don't have anyone in mind just yet."

Brunhilde slapped the table again, then threw her hands up. "What the fuck are you talking about?! What was all of that build up for?!" she snarled, now standing up out of her chair herself.

"Now now, Brunhilde. No need to be upset. Dee was just trying to make herself seem smarter than she was all this time. I wouldn't know anything about that, ho ho ho, but I'd imagine it's a common detective trick. How silly, though, to get caught in the act at a time like this!" Yara cackled, holding one hand in front of her big grin as though that did anything to hide her snide attitude.

Dee stared down at her own lap, looking puzzled. All of her detective work had just slid right out of her brain, courtesy of the Ring of Ursa Major-- that was the bargain you'd accepted from the game master. You were glad nobody had gotten a look at her momentarily bright pink eyes when the lights went out.
