Brunhilde does not suspect you

In a bit of an anticlimax, Brunhilde finally clicked her teeth and shrugged her shoulders. "Who the fuck knows? I still don't believe Wanda was even hypnotized. Have you guys listened to yourselves? Magic is not real." She rolled her eyes and slouched further in her chair, going as far as to kick her leather boots up onto the tablecloth. You thought you saw Eric's eye twitch at that.

"That's not helpful," Dee pointed out, not so much chastising as stating a fact. "Then approach it this way. Assume that Wanda was playing a trick. That she wasn't actually hypnotized. Who's suspicious, then?"

"Nobody," Brunhilde answered. "I agree that she's just acting. But she can be doing that without an accomplice among the guests. We're all just wasting time right now. I'm only entertaining this at all because it's my duty as Yara's bodyguard."

"Magic is real!" Yara pouted, punching her bodyguard lightly in one of the woman's buff biceps.

"Yeah. Sure," Brunhilde grumbled, rolling her eyes. "I'd tell you to leave out something for the tooth fairy then, but your smile has a big enough gap in the teeth already."
