Co-working

Nadia arrived at Livewell Gym the next day. It was a small local gym with a single branch. Mark was the manager. So hiring her was simple.

“Nadia! Great to see you!” He smiled.

“Mark, likewise,” she smiled and shook his hand. It was large and he had a gentle grasp.

He introduced her to the team. It was a small team of six people in total; four trainers and two secretaries. So Nadia was number seven.

“Hi, my name is Nadia. I’m glad to join… Please take care of me,” she bowed.

“She’s cute,” one of the female trainers said. She had long blonde hair. Tanned skin. Blue eyes. A toned fit physique and large breasts.

Cute?

The blonde smirked. It was a judging look.

“Nadia, meet Cameron…” Mark said, “she is our head trainer and she’ll show you the ropes.”

Cameron eyed Nadia up from head to toe. Nadia looked fit, but deep down Cameron knew the true reason she was here. A pretty face would bring back more clients. Profits.

Nadia was none the wiser.

A few weeks passed. Nadia was picking things up fast. Cameron was impressed, but a little ticked off at her “can do” attitude. No one could be that happy all the time. No… She must have a dark secret.

“Nads, we are having a gym social on Saturday at Roxie Bar. We would love to have you and Greg come,” Mark said.

Nads… Mark gave her the nickname. Everyone including Cameron started calling her that.

“Yeah… We haven’t met Greg yet,” Cameron said. Cameron imagined a large burly man - that could only be natural…

Greg? Meet her co-workers? Nadia smiled. This would be really nice. Life was easing again.
