Roche

The troopers fell back as a SOLDIER with long, silky blonde hair and a red, missile shaped cycle took the field. Cloud glared at the handsome operator, and to his astonishment the man blew him a kiss.

"Hello there! I've been looking for a new dance partner. Mind if I cut in?" the man yelled, racing ahead of Cloud.

"Get lost, buster!" Jessie yelled.

"Your woman has a temper I see! Forgive me for not introducing myself. I am Roche! Speed demon!"

He was nothing if not that. He kept Cloud on the defensive, combining speed, targeted Lightning strikes, and a sword technique to keep Cloud at bay. But he hit the brakes...

"Take over!" Cloud yelled. He leapt, and Jessie scrambled up to steer. He landed on Roche's cycle, disabling the engine with a heavy thrust from the Buster sword. Then he leapt back to Jessie's cycle. Roche chuckled.

"Well, well, well, this round goes to you. But let's limit the dance to just you and I next time, my friend!"

Cloud hit the throttle. What a weird guy, he thought. But still, something almost was calling out to him.
