Byleth started walking towards the spot. It was probably best to at least check an initial investigation before.

"Oh, hello Professor!" He turned his head and spotted Shez walking towards him, accompanied by Hilda and Annette. "What are you doing today?" Byleth nodded to them as he sent a telepathic signal to Sothis. 'Check down there ahead of me.' He gives the order, going to strike up conversation between them. "I was thinking of visiting the market in the Monastery today. Which was true, he had been going to check the stalls when Sothis had spotted the stranger, and the spot where they had disappeared was near the stalls had been set up.

"Oh, what a coincidence! Me and Annette can show you around!" Hilda replied cheerfully. "Annette and I were going to look at some jewelry and see if there was something that could help us out in class." Byleth was suspicious, but nodded before looking at Shez. "They made the same offer to me, but I think Hilda just wanted someone to carry stuff for her..." The purplette's shoulders sagged in defeat as they headed towards the market, Byleth following suit.

It turns out there were a number of traders in weapons, along with a blacksmith who could repair those that had been worn down. Hilda also convinced him to purchase some tea while Annette purchased several ingredients. Shez had gone to talk with the blacksmith. Byleth had almost considered ditching the girls before...

"Oh hello there! You look like this is your first time here~" Byleth's head suddenly turned and saw a redheaded merchant with a big ponytail and a wide grin as she looked at them. "Well, let it never be said Anna would ever turn down a potential customer!" She said as he approached. He couldn't deny this Anna was exceptionally pretty, from her body to her face. "If you were looking for any deals to save today, these are things that may interest you~"

By the time Byleth walked away, he had almost bought everything she had offered - from vulneraries and spare weapons to items that seemed like several people he knew would like. She was beautiful and an excellent merchant, but he needed to be careful. If he let his guard down, Anna could probably take him for everything he had! He walked over to Shez and handed her the weapons. "Sorry about this. I need someone to help take these to where we keep the Black Eagle's weapons." Shez looked up at him gratefully, and then noticed Anna waving at them.

"You let yourself get talked into a shopping spree?" After a defeated nod from the instructor, she looked at him sympathetically. "I feel you there..." She sighed as she sorted the weapons to make them easier to carry. "Still, you can count on me, Professor!" Shez took off at a run, Hilda watching her go with a disappointed look on her face, though Annette was already nose deep in a book she'd purchased.

'Hey! Master!' Sothis sent him a signal startling him briefly. 'I have a status report on my findings!'
