"Understood master!" Sothis saluted as he returned to his room, leaving her to keep an eye on Hubert. The black haired Eagle walked silently to Byleth's room, spending time listening in as the head of his house got dressed for bed.

As Byleth finished, he looked towards the lamp. 'Sothis, I wish that anyone who touched the lamp without my permission would have an irresistible need to find somewhere private to masturbate, and forget about the lamp after climaxing.'

Hubert felt he'd learned enough for the night. He hadn't been able to hear what was going on in Manuela's room, but he had at least confirmed that the two had some form of relationship. He'd be keeping an eye on the Professor for Lady Edelgard, so that small bit of intel was good enough for now. He'd thought the Professor had sensed him for a moment there, but... no, best to assume he had figured out he was there. He'd need to be more subtle in the future...
