Byleth mulled it over in his head, but decided to probably let Manuela know. It wouldn't be hard to use a wish to mend fences afterwards, after all. "Well, here's something I've been thinking about. I'm not terribly experienced with romance or sex-" Manuela let out a barking laugh at the latter statement. "-and I did enjoy our time tonight. I'm hoping we can continue that in the future, but... I'm not sure what I'm looking for yet..."
Manuela tilted her head, a nervous frown forming on her face. The sex had been wonderful, but was he saying he was bored of her? Well, she supposed she should have seen this coming - so many men had rejected her in the end. She was hoping that Byleth would have been a steady thing. He didn't mind the mess, and had actually gotten as far as sex! She sighed, about to tell the innocent youth it was all right, but then...
"Would you like to be part of a harem?"
"Itzwassa?" Definitely the most incoherent she could remember being, ever. "Sorry, I must have misheard, did you just-"
"Ask you to become part of a harem? Yes."
Manuela's mind was stuttering as she tried to think about it. Harems were almost unheard of in Fodlan. Naturally, you heard of the Adrestian Emperor having lots of wives, but he was royalty! Though, the sex had been wonderful, and she could somehow tell the naked man in front of her (rawr) was being completely honest with her. "You are aware of the obvious issues with what you're suggesting, right? Are you planning to come out with this at all?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes to the first one, and no to the latter." Byleth replied, still looking serious. "I will keep how I'm certain I can pull it off to myself before you give your answer, but it is possible. As for coming out with it..." He scratched his head. "Other than the obvious political issues making it public could bring, I don't want to encourage Sylvain or Lorenz into trying to follow suit."
Manuela nodded as she saw the point. Though, Lorenz just struck her as a guy who believed in what he was raised and hadn't had real exposure to other people outside his family before. Now was the time for her to come to a decision. On one hand, harems definitely meant she wouldn't have as much time for sex with him as before. But on the other hand, she did like the idea of having someone who seemed to care for her always there, and it wasn't like she had the greatest prospects in the world...
"Yes."
"Yes what?"
"Yes, I think I'm up for being part of your harem." Manuela confirmed with a coy smile. "So, how will this work?"
