Touma, and he'll find out

"What a day..." Touma sighs as he heads back from school, having been trapped in the summer school program. And that was mundane compared to the earlier parts of the day. An attempt at damage control last night ended up with the 3rd strongest esper - Misaka Mikoto - blasting lightning at him and ultimately knocking the power of his apartment.

Then there was that nun who called herself Index had landed on the railing of his apartment (apparently while jumping between buildings), apparently on the run from some 'magicians'. After an argument about magic and esper abilities, he tried proving it by using his Imagine breaker on her 'invincible' nun's habit... which had exploded off of her right before he learned just how strong Index's jaws are on his head. She'd left afterwards, baffled by Academy CIty's cleaning robots and running from them in shock before he headed off.

"Such misfortune..." He sighed again as he walked back towards his apartment, That was just how his luck went, a sentiment proven correct as he suddenly tripped on something, faceplanting into the pavement. "Owww!" He groaned, getting up as he looked at what he had tripped over. The offending item turned out to be... an oil lamp that looked like it had come from a knock off of Aladdin? Well, it did seem fancy. Maybe he could sell it to try and help out his situation... So saying, he picked it up with his right hand. When no negation happened he sighed. Not supernatural then. He picked it up as he made his way up towards his apartment.
